The Viking Occupation - Segedunum Roman Fort, Baths & Museum

Discover the Tyne as it may have been 1000 years ago. Invading Vikings encamp by the ruins of the Roman Fort. See traditional weapons and crafts that made their occupation of the North East so effective.

The Northumbrian Vikings will set up encampment around the fort perimeter with displays of crafts and weapons.
