A Taste of History - Roman Army Museum
Friday 29th – Sunday 31st May 10am - 4pm
Scenes from frontier life with authentic tent, kit, soldiers and cooking, with displays of weaponry and interaction. Visitors can handle historic collections and interpreters will describe domestic life and food in the Roman era and continuing into the Medieval and Tudor eras, this may include some banter and domestic interaction!

From the A69 at Haltwhistle or Greenhead follow signs for the B6138. Or the Hadrian’s Wall Country Bus stops at the Roman Army Museum with regular connections to, Hexham and Haltwhistle stations.
